AIAA D/B/F 2014:

 

In D/B/F competition held in Wichita, Kansas, USA from 11th -13th April, 2014 Team Pheonix’s  aircraft ‘UDAAN’ was highly appreciated by the pilot and the flight line judges. Team stood 1st in India, 3rd in Asia. The team stood 32nd for the design report with a score of 85.5/100 and 48th overall out of 100 international teams from all around the world.

 

Key features of ‘’UDAAN’ were twin motor tractor configuration, light and optimised structure, wing made in 3 parts for ease of transportation and assembly.
